Our recent project Medical Injury Dashboard showcases the power of data-driven analytics in sports consulting, through the development of interactive medical report dashboards visualised in Tableau. Designed to streamline injury management and enhance strategic decision-making, these dashboards provide comprehensive insights into each player's medical status and projected recovery timelines. The Individual Player Overview offers detailed visual indicators of injury severity and location, enabling medical staff to prioritise treatments effectively. The Injury Timeline and Squad Overview dashboards aggregate extensive data on player health, supporting coaching staff in optimising match day lineups and training schedules. Additionally, the Estimated Return to Play dashboard utilises analytics to predict recovery periods, thereby aiding in future match preparations. This initiative demonstrates how integrating analytics into sports consulting can revolutionize injury management, ensuring that decisions are informed, strategic, and proactive. Through meticulous data collection and the innovative use of Tableau’s dynamic capabilities, our dashboards serve as crucial tools for medical and coaching staff, driving forward the performance and wellbeing of players with cutting-edge technology.
